Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters

I was really excited to find a tinted lip balm that has more pigmentation than the usual tinted lip balm. So pretty much I was looking for a hydrating lipstick. There were many colors in this collection. The one I got was Strawberry Shortcake. Strawberry Shortcake is a bright, almost neon pink (Seen below). I chose this color because I thought this lip butter would not be as pigmented as a lipstick.

Strawberry Shortcake
$5.84 - $7.99 (Prices vary at different drugstores/discount stores)

You have probably heard about this product from "rave reviews" on YouTube. From the YouTubers I have heard, they say it is a very moisturizing, pigmented lip butter.

As you can see, the packaging is very sleek on the inside, and the outside has a quilted texture imprinted on the plastic. It gives it a more luxurious feel than just plain, shiny, black, circular plastic tube. The tube stays together, yet is fairly easy to open. The top of the lipstick has a clear plastic square on it, showing you the actual color of the lipstick. A lot of the lip butters have similar color packaging, so the clear "window" helps you find the color you want easily.

The texture of the lip butter is very creamy. It applies easily and is pigmented. A lot of people say that it is very moisturizing, and I imagined them as that, however I don't feel like it actually moisturizes my lips. It doesn't dry them but barely moisturizes your lips. The color gets stuck on chapped parts of your lips (as most lipsticks/lip balms do).

This would be a very good product for somebody who is looking for a lipstick, not a tinted lip balm. Somebody who "out-grew" baby lips would like this, as baby lips has juvenile packaging, most don't give off as much color as a lipstick, and has fairly unpractical color selection. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters are moisturizing lipsticks, not tinted lip balms. That meaning it is created more as a lipstick, instead of having its main job as a lip balm. I would repurchase this as a lipstick, not a lip balm. This is a great product for the winter time.
